Welcome to Bat-Mania UK!
I would like to welcome everybody to the official Bat-Mania United Kingdom website. This website is about the 1966-1968 Batman television programme, which was premiered on American television on January 12th 1966. The show earned top ratings and was broadcasted on prime time television. The show was translated into several different languages including German and Spanish after the release of the bat-movie. In 1984 all 120 episodes were remastered to bring back the colour/sharpness of the original broadcastings. Even today 40 years later, the show is still being shown on channels like FX and TV Land, a new generation of "bat-mania" is emerging as new "bat-manics" are added to the shows fans!
Television Broadcasts
- In the UK, Batman is no longer broadcasted on BBC4. Keep checking here to see whether the show will return. No other channels currently have the rights to broadcast the series.
